There’s nothing like picking up a debut novel and feeling like you’ve found your new favorite author. Don't get me wrong, I love the hint of Italian language in the book. It focuses on the mother more than girl, the mothI remember watching the very end of this movie made from this book a long time ago and never knew the name of it and the ending always haunted me.
