An abusive man promises to kill his girlfriend when she threatens to end the relationship and take their baby. They barely display the character's personalities, hobbies, and their life outside the set, which would be helpful to understand some issues. The acting was terrible.
I thought initially it was very smart of Lifetime to explore this show and what it legitimately did for Television. The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story is a 2014 American television film that aired on Lifetime on September 1, 2014. Lifetime is the home of bad, bad TV movies but this one takes the cake of stuff I've seen lately. It's been two years since Tina's husband-to-be, Brock, lost his first wife in a tragic accident. Was this review helpful? After being cast in the hit teen sitcom I don't even know where to begin with this film. I wish I can give it a lower score.. The movie was a homage to the cast and it made me smile, especially since I grew up watching the series as a kid.

The characters were well cast and did an excellent job portraying their characters especially since the casting director from the original shoe came back to cast the characters for this movie. My wife made me watch it once and now we watch it first thing every Saturday morning mostly because our local tv stations just stopped showing saved by the Bell reruns on Saturday mornings last month. I am aware it is Dustin's version; however, it misses the point on describing the real problems and frictions between the cast. And the only movie I have watched in the last 14 years. From seeing the previews, i thought the movie was going to be a tell all that was going to destroy my childhood memories of one of my favorite shows, and the cast looked so fake.
It's like all the behind the scenes things you heard over the years like Lisa and Mark dating and putting it on screen. I understand there were some very dramatic things that happened behind the scenes so this could have been very interesting. It is a colossal horrible mess. To start this off this review, I wish I could give this movie a zero. Want to share IMDb's rating on your own site? I don't even know why they bothered making it.
Directed by Jason Lapeyre. It is corny, it is sugary and it does miss some of the seedier parts of Dustin Diamond's book. This is not going to be a slam of Mr. Dustin Diamond, simply a review of what Lifetime put on the screen last night.

The casting is the only thing they didn't screw up because it was okay (most will disagree with me) but the story they tell is ridiculous. THE UNAUTHORIZED SAVED BY THE BELL STORY is a rather strange film on a number of levels.
But in order to free her, he must give up the thing he loves the most.
